My work focuses primarily on two research areas: decision-making in global governance, and the socio-economic impact of globalization. My research findings have appeared in leading journals, like the The Lancet, World Development, the American Sociological Review, and the American Journal of Sociology, and have received attention by many media outlets, including the New York Times, Le Monde, El País, Reuters, and the BBC.
