When School Divides

RISE-WELL addresses Italy’s high school dropout rate by linking early leaving to social, economic, cultural, and wellbeing inequalities. Focused on Milan, the project studies how student distress, disadvantage, and urban divides affect learning and belonging. By involving schools, teachers, students, and families, it develops practices and policy tools to promote wellbeing, prevent dropout, and reduce inequality.
