Grace Ballor and Matthias Rodemeier have each received an ERC Starting Grant, bringing Bocconi’s total ERC-funded projects to 75. Both projects address climate change from different angles: Ballor’s EURISK studies how EU institutions, firms, insurers, and courts have managed climate risk since the 1990s, while Rodemeier’s M4E tests how market design, monitoring, AI, and new payment mechanisms can make environmental markets more effective and fair.
