New Knowledge Coming to Bocconi

Two Assistant Professors will bolster the Department of Social and Political Sciences.
Ala Mohammed Alrababah obtained his PhD in Political Science from Stanford University. He previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Public Policy Group and Immigration Policy Lab at ETH Zurich. His research utilizes a multi-method approach to investigate various topics, including authoritarian media, political violence, and the experiences of immigrants and refugees, with a specific focus on the Middle East. His research findings have been published or are forthcoming in many esteemed journals.
Germain Gauthier will be joining the Department of Social and Political Sciences as an Assistant Professor. He comes from ETH Zurich, where he worked as a Postdoc in the Law, Economics, and Data Science Group. His research lies at the intersection of economics and political science, encompassing both methodological and applied work. He earned his PhD in Economics from Ecole Polytechnique.
