A daily commitment that is the work of many Bocconi professors, students and alumni and to which the University is committed with numerous scholarships to support female student
Around the world, International Women's Day becomes an opportunity to reflect on gender inequality and the level of protection of women's rights. However, study, research and field work on this issue, however much the spotlight is shone on that day, are the daily activities of many people committed to fighting such inequalities full-time.
From the activities of the AXA Research Lab on Gender Equality to studies on the risk of promoting the gender gap through multiple-choice exams; from research on pink quotas in politics to research on gender-based violence in South America; from reflections on Italian legislation with respect to European demands, to direct experiences in the creation of networks and legal clinics for women in prison, viaSarfatti25 in this focus dedicated to the two major themes of female empowerment and gender violence recounts the research work of professors at Bocconi, the experiences of students and alumni of its community and the University's commitment to supporting female students through dedicated scholarships.
