Artificial Intelligence Raises New Questions for the Social Sciences: the Launch of AISS
Bocconi has launched Artificial Intelligence in Social Sciences (AISS), a new interdisciplinary research lab directed by Massimo Anelli of the Department of Social and Political Sciences. Operational since October 2026, AISS helps researchers apply AI rigorously to complex data and explore new research questions. Through its AI Clinic, project incubator, seminars and training, the lab promotes innovative, reproducible and responsible AI methods across disciplines.
