I am a Senior Professor of Tourism Economics and Policy at Bocconi University and former Director of the ACME Master’s Degree Programs and Master in Tourism. I have been Visiting Professor at international prestigious Universities. I served as President of the Italian National Tourism Observatory (2022–2026) and Vice-President of the European Travel Commission (2019–2025), member of the BoD of ENIT, special advisor to EU Commissioner and Italian Minister of Tourism. My research and publications focuses on tourism theory and policy, hospitality, territorial resources and destinations ( F&B and cultural heritage), tourism ICT and AI.
